This winter vacation, our whole family decided to hold a family reunion. To prepare for this gathering, my parents arranged the time in advance and carefully prepared everything. Relatives came to our home from different cities; some took the train, and some took a plane. Everyone arrived on time, and no one was late. Seeing so many family members together made me feel very excited and happy. On the day of the reunion, the house became especially lively. The living room had new furniture, and the table was full of food. My mother was busy cooking in the kitchen, and my father was responsible for tidying the rooms. Aunts, uncles, and grandparents sat together chatting, recalling past life and talking about current work and plans. The children played games nearby, and laughter was everywhere. During the meal, we raised our glasses together to thank our family for their care and support over the years. The food was very rich, with dumplings, soup, and various home-style dishes. Everyone ate and shared feelings at the same time, creating a very warm atmosphere. Although some family members are usually very busy and rarely meet, this reunion made us feel close again. After dinner, we cleaned the dining area together and continued chatting. Some people shared photos, and others told jokes. Time passed quickly, and when it was time to part, everyone felt a little reluctant. This family reunion helped me understand that family is always the most important, and whenever we have time, we should spend more time with each other.
