Jīntiān shì zhōumò, wǒ hé péngyou shuō: “Wǒmen yìqǐ qù bówùguǎn ba.”

Today is the weekend.

Péngyou hěn tóngyì, yě juéde zhège zhǔyi hěn hǎo.

I said to my friend, “Let’s go to the museum together.”

Zǎoshàng tiānqì hěn shūfu, bù lěng yě bù rè.

My friend agreed and thought it was a good idea.

Wǒmen cóng jiā chūfā, xiān zuò dìtiě, ránhòu zǒu yì xiǎo duàn lù jiù dào le bówùguǎn.

The morning weather was comfortable, not cold and not hot.

Bówùguǎn zài chéngshì zhōngjiān, fùjìn yǒu gōngyuán hé hěn duō shù, huánjìng hěn ānjìng.

We left home, took the subway, and then walked a short distance to the museum.

Zǒu jìn bówùguǎn yǐhòu, wǒ fāxiàn lǐmiàn hěn gānjìng, yě hěn ānjìng.

The museum is in the city center, near a park with many trees, and the environment is very quiet.

Dàtīng hěn dà, dēng hěn liàng.

After entering the museum, I found it very clean and quiet inside.

The hall is large and bright.

We first looked at a map and decided to start visiting from the first floor.

There are many things about history and culture in the museum, including photos, paintings, and some very old objects.

My friend is very interested in history and looked very carefully.

Cānguān de shíhou, wǒmen kàn dào hěn duō yóukè.

I looked while listening to his explanations, which helped me understand past life more clearly.

Yǒu de rén zài zhàoxiàng, yǒu de rén zài tīng jiǎngjiě.

During the visit, we saw many visitors.

Gōngzuò rényuán hěn rèqíng, yě bāngzhù wǒmen huídá wèntí.

Some were taking photos, and some were listening to explanations.

The staff were very friendly and helped answer our questions.

At noon, we ate near the museum.

The food was not expensive and very fresh.

After eating, we returned to the museum to continue visiting other areas.

When the afternoon was almost over, we were a little tired but in a good mood.

Wǒ xiǎng yǐhòu rúguǒ yǒu shíjiān, hái xiǎng zài lái yí cì bówùguǎn.

I think going to the museum not only helps people relax but also helps them learn new knowledge.
