Jīntiān shì xīngqīliù, wǒ hé jiārén yìqǐ qù shāngdiàn.

Today is Saturday, and I went shopping with my family.

Zǎoshàng tiānqì hěn hǎo, bù lěng yě bù rè.

The weather was very good in the morning, not cold and not hot.

Wǒmen cóng jiā chūfā, zuò gōnggòngqìchē qù shāngdiàn.

We left home and took the bus to the store.

Lù bù yuǎn, shíjiān bù cháng.

The road was not far, and the time was not long.

Dào le shāngdiàn yǐhòu, wǒ kànjiàn hěn duō rén.

After arriving at the store, I saw many people.

Dàjiā dōu zài mǎi dōngxi.

Everyone was buying things.

Shāngdiàn hěn dà, lǐmiàn yǒu hěn duō dōngxi.

The store was very big and had many items.

Bàba xiǎng mǎi yīfu, māma xiǎng mǎi yìxiē shuǐguǒ.

My father wanted to buy clothes, and my mother wanted to buy some fruit.

Wǒ hé mèimei yìqǐ zǒu, kàn yánsè, yě kàn jiàgé.

My younger sister and I walked together, looking at colors and prices.

Yǒu de yīfu hěn guì, yǒu de yīfu bǐjiào piányi.

Some clothes were expensive, and some were cheaper.

Bàba juéde piányi de yīfu yě kěyǐ.

My father thought the cheaper clothes were also fine.

Māma mǎi le píngguǒ hé xīguā, shuō shuǐguǒ hěn hǎochī.

My mother bought apples and watermelon and said the fruit was delicious.

My sister liked red-colored items and smiled happily.

Zhōngwǔ wǒmen zài shāngdiàn wàimiàn de fàndiàn chī fàn.

At noon, we ate at a restaurant outside the store.

Fàn bù guì, yě hěn hǎochī.

The food was not expensive and tasted good.

Xiàwǔ wǒmen jìxù mǎi dōngxi.

In the afternoon, we continued shopping.

Māma mǎi le yìxiē rìcháng dōngxi, bàba mǎi le yīfu.

My mother bought daily items, and my father bought clothes.

Wǒ bāng māma ná dōngxi, suīrán yǒudiǎn lèi, dànshì hěn kuàilè.

I helped my mother carry things. Although I was a little tired, I felt very happy.

Huí jiā de shíhou, wǒmen dōu hěn gāoxìng.

When we returned home, we were all happy.

Jīntiān hé jiārén yìqǐ gòuwù, wǒ juéde zhè yì tiān hěn hǎo.

Shopping with my family today felt like a very good day.
