Wǒ xūyào yì tái diànnǎo.

I need a computer.

Wǒ shì xuéshēng, yě zài xuéxiào xuéxí hànyǔ.

I am a student and study Chinese at school.

Měitiān wǒ kàn shū, xiě zì, yě tīng lǎoshī shuōhuà.

Every day I read books, write characters, and listen to the teacher speak.

Xuéxiào yǒu diànnǎo, dànshì diànnǎo bù duō.

There are computers at school, but not many.

Wǒ zài jiā yě xiǎng yòng diànnǎo.

I also want to use a computer at home.

Diànnǎo duì wǒ hěn zhòngyào.

A computer is very important to me.

Wǒ yòng diànnǎo xuéxí, yě yòng diànnǎo gōngzuò.

I use a computer to study and also to work.

Wǒ juéde diànnǎo hěn hǎo.

I think computers are very good.

Jīntiān shàngwǔ, wǒ hé péngyou yìqǐ qù shāngdiàn kàn diànnǎo.

This morning, my friend and I went to a store to look at computers.

Shāngdiàn zài xuéxiào wàimiàn, bù yuǎn.

The store is outside the school and not far.

Shāngdiàn lǐmiàn yǒu hěn duō diànnǎo.

There are many computers in the store.

Diànnǎo zài zhuōzi shàng, zhuōzi qiánmiàn yǒu yí gè fúwùyuán.

The computers are on tables, and there is a shop assistant in front of the tables.

Fúwùyuán shuō, zhèxiē diànnǎo dōu hěn hǎo, yǒu de hěn xīn, yǒu de bù xīn.

The assistant said all the computers are good; some are new, and some are not new.

Wǒ wèn fúwùyuán, zhè tái diànnǎo duōshǎo qián.

I asked how much one computer costs.

Fúwùyuán shuō, zhè tái diànnǎo hěn guì, nà tái diànnǎo bǐjiào piányi.

The assistant said one computer is expensive, and another is cheaper.

Wǒ kàn le hěn jiǔ, juéde piányi de diànnǎo yě hěn hǎo.

I looked for a long time and felt the cheaper computer is also good.

Wǒ xiǎng mǎi yì tái diànnǎo, dànshì wǒ qián bù duō.

I wanted to buy a computer, but I do not have much money.

Wǒ gěi bàba dǎ diànhuà, shuō wǒ xūyào yì tái diànnǎo.

I called my father and said I need a computer.

Bàba shuō, diànnǎo kěyǐ bāngzhù xuéxí, yě kěyǐ bāngzhù gōngzuò.

My father said a computer can help with studying and working.

Xiàwǔ bàba huí jiā, wǒmen yìqǐ shuōhuà.

In the afternoon, my father came home and we talked together.

Bàba shuō, kěyǐ mǎi yì tái bù guì de diànnǎo.

He said we can buy a computer that is not expensive.

Wǒ hěn gāoxìng.

I was very happy.

Dì èr tiān, wǒmen yìqǐ qù shāngdiàn.

The next day, we went to the store together.

Bàba gěi fúwùyuán qián, fúwùyuán zhǎo qián.

My father gave money to the assistant, and the assistant returned the change.

Wǒmen mǎi le yì tái diànnǎo.

We bought a computer.

Huí jiā yǐhòu, wǒ bǎ diànnǎo fàng zài zhuōzi shàng.

After going home, I put the computer on the table.

Wǒ yòng diànnǎo xuéxí hànyǔ, kàn shū, yě xiě zì.

I use the computer to study Chinese, read books, and write characters.

Wǎnshàng, wǒ hěn kuàilè.

In the evening, I was very happy.

Wǒ juéde yǒu diànnǎo, wǒ de xuéxí hé gōngzuò dōu hěn hǎo.

I think with a computer, my study and work are both very good.
